About
Bethesda
Although we are currently based in Edmonton, the experience of our team stretches across Canada, the U.S., and the U.K.. Our passion for people gives us the ability to express unconditional positive regard to build rapport and maintain trust in therapeutic relationships with our clients.
Our Background
We work everyday because of a passion & a dream.
We have worked extensively with marginalized individuals, individuals struggling with addictions, people experiencing homelessness, individuals with mental and physical disabilities, physical and sexual abuse survivors, at-risk children and youth, reoffending criminals, and individuals struggling with diagnosed mental health disorders.
We’ve had experiences working with individuals suffering from issues such as toxic stress, anxiety, psychosis: drug-induced or otherwise, multiple personality disorder and severe personal or intergenerational trauma.
As a result of our trauma-informed background and training in suicide intervention, we are able to encourage those in these demographics to establish healthy coping skills.
